Griffin iMic

So, I found out about this thing from this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F_zgd4GqdFQ and I was interested in getting the iMic he talked about, since I want to stream audio from my PS Vita to my laptop. When researching this thing, I found that there was not a lot of information on it, so I am making this page to compile my findings so far about it.

As far as I know, there are 3 revisions of this. According to this review, it was first available somewhere around July 30th, 2001, when the review was published. It was created by Griffin Technology, and they go for around 30-60 US dollars (March 2024) online. It does not look like these are for sale anymore. I also have no idea if their functions are different, but I do know that the one in the plastic case looks different than the ones in the boxes. I can't really tell if there are switches on them like on the others I think, but I'll see soon enough hopefully.

I have bought one of them here and will review it when it arrives! I will also try to scan the paper insert(s) and dump the disc. Although I don't have a Plextor drive for properly ripping CDs (assuming that's what it is), I will still try with my DVD drive and upload it for the masses.
